Alex is responsible for reviewing and updating business processes and systems, as well as leading our team of highly skilled and experienced staff at Head Office - he has worked as an AFG adviser and so has a unique perspective and instinctively knows what's needed to support the functioning of the business.
With his legal and finance backgrounds, Alex offers a wealth of expertise and knowledge to support the administration and compliance of the business.
Rhellen is AFG's New Business Manager. As well as handling underwriting requirements, issuance, submissions and NewBusiness compliance safeguard, Rhellen liaises directly with the CEO and the adviser network. She provides weekly reports for the Leadership Team so that they have absolute clarity and oversight of the business and the performance of the adviser network.
A qualified accountant in her native Philippines, Rhellen enjoyed a 25-year career in the banking industry before moving to New Zealand, most recently as the Assistant Vice President of the largest bank in the Philippines, BDO.
With a master's degree in Applied Finance, Sneha has the perfect combination of skills and expertise needed for the Finance Manager's role in AFG. A proactive, super-efficient problem solver, Sneha is responsible for accounts, remuneration and financial reporting. She is currently undertaking the CPA programme with the aim to bring a higher professional accounting competency and add more value to AFG.
Sneha has many years' experience in similar roles both in New Zealand and her native India. A natural communicator, Sneha liaises directly to the CEO and Head of Distribution for financial matters.
Emily brings a wealth of skills and expertise in customer service with over 5 years of work experience in the hospitality industry.
With her proactive attitude, customer service excellence and being a natural communicator, Emily is considered as the voice of AFG. She is not only gifted with a pure heart, but most of all she enjoys servicing AFG clients, building rapport with them and always putting their interests first - with the aim to develop long-lasting service relationships with clients.
Having recently joined AFG in 2020, Brian offers a range of skills and knowledge from his many years' experience in the banking industry.
He coordinates compliance updates and Head Office processes, as well as supports the administrative tasks of the mortgage team.
Brian is highly driven and proficient at process development, task management, and business administration.
